We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced
Site Manager
to join our growing team. This is a key role, responsible for the overall maintenance, safety, and cleanliness of
two school sites
. You will also be responsible for carrying out
daily cleaning duties at one site
, helping to ensure a safe and high-quality environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Opening and securing the school premises.
Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs across both locations
Overseeing planned maintenance and responding to day-to-day site issues
Managing grounds maintenance to ensure external areas are tidy, accessible, and safe
Monitoring for hazards and ensuring prompt resolution
Maintaining accurate records relating to site operations (e.g. maintenance logs, contractor visits)
Coordinating external contractors and suppliers as needed
Carrying out daily cleaning duties at one of the sites, ensuring hygiene and presentation standards are met
Supporting school operations by assisting with logistical and site-related tasks
Health and Safety
Conducting regular health and safety checks in line with current legislation
Completing risk assessments and maintaining up-to-date documentation
Ensuring all work is carried out using correct equipment and safe procedures
Reporting any health and safety concerns promptly to the Headteacher and leadership team
Essential Requirements
At least one year of experience as a school site manager or similar facilities role
Working knowledge of health and safety standards and building compliance
Strong practical skills in site maintenance, basic repair work, and cleaning
Excellent organisation, reliability, and the ability to work independently across two locations
A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving
Full UK driving licence and access to transport (travel between sites required)
