Temporary Site Manager Required ASAP

Experienced

in school site management, with a proven track record in a similar role

Competent in IT systems

, including day-to-day operational platforms and reporting tools

Flexible

with working hours and able to adapt to a rotating shift pattern
The shift pattern may include Caretaker shift cover which alternates weekly as follows:

Week 1:

Monday to Thursday, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm; Friday, 6:00 am - 1:00 pm

Week 2:

Monday to Friday, 11:30 am - 7:30 pm

Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to oversee daily operations at our site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all activities, maintaining safety standards, and fostering a productive environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and a background in teaching or training to lead a team effectively. The Site Manager will play a vital role in coordinating resources, managing staff, and ensuring project objectives are met efficiently.

Responsibilities



Oversee daily site operations, ensuring all activities comply with health and safety regulations Coordinate and supervise staff, including scheduling shifts and delegating tasks Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments to meet deadlines Conduct regular site inspections to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and organisation Foster effective communication among team members, clients, and stakeholders Manage procurement of materials and equipment needed for ongoing projects Provide training and mentorship to team members, leveraging teaching skills to enhance performance Prepare reports on site activities, progress, and any issues requiring attention Ensure compliance with environmental policies and company procedures

Skills



Proven experience in site management or a similar supervisory role Strong organisational and leadership abilities with excellent problem-solving skills Effective communication skills to liaise with diverse teams and stakeholders Ability to motivate and inspire team members through teaching and mentorship Good understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction or industrial sectors Proficiency in planning, scheduling, and resource management Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure Previous experience in teaching or training is highly desirable to facilitate staff development
