School Travel Co-ordinator (Part-Time, Term-Time plus 3 weeks in the School Holidays)
We are looking to recruit a School Travel Co-ordinator to join Benenden's dedicated Travel Team, who manage the travel arrangements for students, and for staff who organise School events and activities throughout the year.
The Travel Team have a lot of direct contact with parents and staff, and this position requires a customer-focussed individual who can demonstrate a high level of professionalism with excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to plan and organise their work, good attention to detail and IT competency in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel.
Student travel is managed mainly through a school travel booking system and so previous experience of having used travel software would be an advantage, although full training will be given to the right candidate.
Working Hours:
Monday 10:00am to 6:00pm
Tuesday 10.00am to 6.00pm
Wednesday 12:00pm to 6:00pm
Thursday 10.00am to 6.00pm
Friday 11:00am to 5:00pm
This is a term time position plus 15 days during the school holidays, (30 hours per week), dates to be agreed in advance. Term begins on the day of the full staff meeting (INSET) which you are expected to attend.
Salary:
The Full Time Equivalent for this role is 26,588.82 per annum with actual salary for this term time plus role being 17,502.82 per annum.
Benenden is one of the leading day and boarding schools in Britain. We were founded in 1923 and are situated in 250 acres of attractive parkland in Kent. There are 550 girls in the school, aged 11-18, with approximately 180 of those in the Sixth Form. Meals are provided to staff whilst on duty. The School's leisure facilities, including a fitness gym and swimming pool are available for staff to use.
