Job Description
A well-respected secondary school in Brighton is seeking a passionate and dedicated
Science Specialist
to join their dynamic faculty. The successful candidate will inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of science and supporting academic achievement.Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging science lessons in line with the school curriculum. Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback. Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment. Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and departmental initiatives.
Requirements:
QTS preferred but not essential.
Experience teaching secondary school science is desirable. CurrentDBS on the Update Service
or willingness to obtain one. Up-to-datesafeguarding training
or commitment to complete it. Strong communication and organisational skills. Passion for inspiring students and a commitment to their personal and academic development.Benefits:
