Here, we are looking (very broadly) for Science & Technology Researchers, Engineers & Managers for their Bristol office. There is some high-level security work involved and some of this will need to be carried out from the office/lab, but there will also be plenty of opportunity to work from home.

This is the team that works on some very clever and ingenious projects and requires the brightest of minds!

We are looking for applications from exceptional, talented people who are\xe2\x80\xa6

• Degree qualified in Physics, Engineering or Maths
• Researchers and Technologists, System Designers & Engineers, Technical Project Leads, etc, either from academia or with industrial experience
• Passionate about developing cutting edge technology and know how to turn science fiction into science to best protect the country
• UK Nationals, capable of gaining a high level of security clearance

This could include\xe2\x80\xa6

RF Engineers with experience of:

• Pulsed Power / High Voltage or Radio frequency or Antenna Design or Directed Energy (practical and/or theoretical experiences considered)
• Data analysis (e.g. Matlab)
• Circuit modelling (e.g. Spice)
• Electromagnetic modelling (e.g. CST/Comsol)

Low Observability/Stealth Technologists with experience of:

• Low observability or stealth design
• RF modelling (e.g. CST)
• Experience with Antenna design or metamaterials

Systems Designers with experience or knowledge of:

• System design or system engineering
• RF systems and/or Antenna design
• Pulse Power / High voltage design
• Bidding / project technical management (for higher grades)

Laser Engineers with:

• Broad experience of activities (requirements, functional architecture and design, test and verification)
• An understanding of optical design and experimentation, including atmospheric transmission
• An understanding of high-speed control / image processing approaches / software development
• The ability to work at a fast pace native to future systems (developing maturity programmes rather than large procurement programmes)

• Base salary of up to \xc2\xa355k
• Bonus of up to \xc2\xa32,500, typically
