Marketing Officer - SEALL (Skye, Raasay, and Lochalsh)
Salary:
28,350 per year (full-time equivalent) pro rata based on 21 hours per week.

Office based in Broadford - Isle of Skye (Hybrid/Remote options available)
SEALL are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Officer to join our arts charity, dedicated to promoting arts and culture across Skye, Raasay, and Lochalsh. The ideal candidate will possess strong design skills, be proactive in updating and maintaining our website, and have a talent for building regional networks. A commercially driven mindset is essential to help maximize the charity's reach and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to promote the charity's programs, events, and initiatives.
Regularly update and maintain the charity's website, ensuring events and content are current, engaging, and aligned with branding.
Design visual materials such as flyers, social media graphics, and promotional banners.
Build and nurture a network of contacts within the arts, community groups, local businesses, and regional stakeholders.
Collaborate with the team to identify new opportunities for collaboration and funding.
Analyse marketing effectiveness and adapt strategies to maximize engagement and reach.
Take the lead on event promotion, including social media campaigns, advertising. press releases and outreach.
Monitor regional arts trends and incorporate relevant ideas into marketing plans.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience in marketing, ideally within the arts or nonprofit sector (Essential)
Strong design skills, proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite or similar software (Essential)
Experience updating and managing websites and newsletters (WordPress, Mailchimp etc.) (Essential)
Excellent communication and networking abilities (Essential)
Commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities (Essential)
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and ability to work independently from the team (Essential)
Knowledge of or interest in the arts and regional community development (Essential)
Ability to speak Gaelic (Desirable)
Clean driving licence and the ability to travel around the region under your own steam, (Essential)
