Job Description
We are recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join our friendly kitchen team at Otter Garden Centre in Ottery St Mary.
The position will require you to work alongside our team of friendly chefs in the weekend running of the kitchen.
We are looking for a hard working individual that is passionate about good food and working as part of a team. Experience in a busy kitchen is essential
Hours of work:
Various positions available Saturday and Sundays
Duties will include:
Keeping a high standard of cleanliness. Good stock control and waste management. Follow our food hygiene processes. Running food for the kitchen
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience working in a kitchen Work well in a team Knowledge of kitchen health & safety Have great customer service skills Be able to work in a high pressured environment
We will be conducting interviews from the 20th October
Contracts start from October 2025 to early January 2026
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract
Pay: 4.25-12.21 per hour
