Chef

to join our team here at Monkey Tree Holiday Park for the 2025 season. The ideal candidate will be proactive and support the head chef in kitchen operations to enhance the experience of our guests.

This is offered on a Seasonal Contract until September 2025, with the potential to extend based on performance. The hours for this position are offered on a variable hour's basis which means flexibility is essential. Business hours for the kitchen are 8am to 10pm from Monday to Sunday.

As a Chef, you will be the driving force behind our kitchen operations on the Head Chefs days off, ensuring that our guests have a delightful dining experience. You will help lead a talented team of Catering Assistants, overseeing all aspects of food preparation and kitchen management.

The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering high quality meals and enjoy working in a busy kitchen during the holiday season, giving great customer service and ensuring a clean environment to our high standards.

What you will be doing:

Preparing ingredients and cooking food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines Inspire your team, providing guidance, training and support in the Head Chefs absence Adhere to all H&S standards Collaborate with the team effectively Cleaning in all areas Stocking up/ stock rotation Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation across all dining outlets within the holiday park Adapt to the seasonal demands of the Park, maintaining high standards at all times

What we are looking for:

Previous experience in a busy team kitchen environment. Excellent communication skills Well presented smart appearance Hard working, punctual and conscientious Honest and responsible Flexible, helpful, co operative
