We are a family friendly free-house situated in Alton, Staffordshire. We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with a keen understanding of food safety and hospitality standards. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests while managing kitchen operations efficiently.
Duties
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance within established standards.
Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production.
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Maintain equipment in good working order, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
Excellent culinary skills with the ability to create diverse menus that cater to various dietary needs.
