Responsibilities
Prepare and cook burgers according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food safety guidelines are strictly followed during food preparation and cooking processes.
Assist in the preparation of other menu items as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
Maintain inventory of ingredients, reporting any shortages or issues to the kitchen manager.
Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas regularly to uphold hygiene standards.
Skills
Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations is preferred.
Experience in food preparation within a restaurant or culinary setting is advantageous.
Basic maths skills for measuring ingredients accurately.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a busy kitchen environment.
Knowledge of upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and boost sales.
This is a seasonal role. We can offer some flexibility regarding shift patterns but evening and weekend availability is a must.
