Our client, a prominent player in the aerospace sector, is currently seeking a skilled Second Line IT Analyst to join their team on a contract basis in Wimborne.
Key Responsibilities:

• Providing second line IT support, managing and resolving incidents in a timely manner
• Monitoring system performance to ensure optimal operation and identifying areas for improvement
• Collaborating with first line support and other IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• Assisting in the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure and software
• Implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with established procedures
• Maintaining accurate documentation of issues and solutions
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT service quality

Job Requirements:

• Experience in an IT support role, with a particular focus on second line support
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and software applications
• Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in using IT support software and tools
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Candidates will be required to go through a baseline security clearance check before starting. This can take up to 4+ weeks.
