Section Engineer - Highways and Utilities Project

Responsibilities: As a Section Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of our Highways and Utilities Project. Your responsibilities will include: * Overseeing the construction activities within your assigned section to ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety guidelines.

• Collaborating with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to develop detailed plans and schedules for the section\'s activities.
• Managing and coordinating a team of skilled workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project milestones efficiently.
• Conducting regular inspections and quality checks to verify compliance with design documents and construction regulations.
• Identifying potential risks and providing innovative solutions to overcome challenges in the construction process.
• Monitoring the progress of work and reporting on project status to the Project Manager.
• Assisting in the preparation of progress reports, technical documentation, and project records.
• Ensuring that all engineering activities align with environmental and sustainability policies.

Qualifications and Experience: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience: * A Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Section Engineer or similar role on highways and utilities construction projects.
• Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
• Familiarity with relevant software applications for project management and design (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera, etc.).
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
