Duty Manager

Reporting to: Managing Director

Salary: 45,000.00 per annum

Hours: 3 day shifts, 3 night shifts, 3 off

Location: Various locations as required

SafeSupport Security are committed to creating a safe, supportive environment for individuals in crisis. Working both days and nights on a rolling rota, you'll be responsible for managing a team providing both security and welfare duties to various accommodation sites supporting vulnerable people.

Purpose of the position

The purpose of the Duty Manager role is to provide an in-person presence available to all staff and clients at all times, so that senior management are able to complete broader tasks in the best interests of the company in the assurance that all company policies and procedures are being supervised and enforced. The Duty Manager also operates the Mobile Support Unit on behalf of the company and therefore provides incident response, completes patrols, and responds to requests for staff assistance as required.

Key responsibilities & duties

The Key responsibilities and duties of the Duty Manager role are:

a) Ensuring the smooth running of shifts on a day-to-day basis for all staff and clients.

b) Representing the company in person on a day-to-day basis.

c) Acting as the managing mobile response presence in the company vehicle and responding to incidents and staff assistance requests.

You must have a full drivers licence to apply for this role.

d) Ensuring performance and standards are met in accordance with company policies and procedures.

e) Carrying out other tasks and responsibilities as and when required at the request of company management.

Requirements

Holds a valid

SIA Door Supervisor licence.

Holds a

Full and clean Drivers Licence.

Strong sense of

responsibility and emotional intelligence.

Comfortable

working alone overnight.

Excellent communication and

conflict de-escalation

skills. Management experience (preferably in security).

Desirable

Previous experience in supporting vulnerable people,homelessness support, or similar environments.
