Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Gatehouse operative to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. This role requires excellent observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts. The Gatehouse operative will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with licensing laws and company policies.

Duties

Operating the Gatehouse. Engage with holiday makers in a professional manner, providing assistance when needed. Respond promptly to incidents, including conflicts or emergencies, utilising first aid skills when necessary. Collaborate with other security personnel to maintain a cohesive security presence throughout the site. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and any actions taken during shifts.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a security role is required. First aid certification is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Ability to work flexible hours, from 4pm- midnight to cover back shifts. 4 days a week possibly more hours working needed

Requirements

A valid SIA licence - Door Supervisor Good communication skills Must be fluent in speaking and writing in English Be smartly dressed and groomed at all times Be able to have own transport or live locally
