Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Security Officer/General Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises while supporting various operational tasks. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect any potential security breaches. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious activities and reporting them promptly. Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring the wellbeing of all staff and visitors. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment. Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance at all times. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to security and operational procedures.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential. Basic first aid certification is desirable; training may be provided for suitable candidates. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Within the General Operative role you will be able to complete daily maintenance tasks including spot cleaning throughout the scheme inside and outside. Assist the Maintenance Team within the environmental element on weeding, power hosing and window cleaning.

Pay: 12.77-12.78 per hour
