You will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of your team and ensure all colleagues are adhering to their duties and maintaining a high level of professionalism and security presence.You will be working an average of 42 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.What we offer:We are a recognised Real Living Wage Foundation partner and Social Enterprise. What you will need:
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
  • A valid SIA Door Suprvisor License - essential
  • A valid SIA CCTV License - desirable
  • Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and working under pressure.
  • Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel)
  • Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards
What are you going to do:
  • Supervise daily security team operations, ensuring the team are fulfilling all their daily tasks and adhering to Assignment Instructions and Corps Security policies
  • Monitor surveillance and alarm systems and respond to any security breaches/incidents
  • To lead, manage and motivate direct reports including; goal setting, performance reviews, appraisals, coaching and development training, and monitor attendance/timekeeping
  • To monitor all staff and contractor activities on the site including the xe2x80x98control of contractorsxe2x80x99, recording of method statements and risk assessments
  • Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, and relevant stakeholders during emergencies
  • Regularly inspect security equipment (e.g. CCTV, Access Control, Alarms) and ensure proper functioning and upkeep
  • Ensure effective communication across departments with integrating security measures into all operational factors, including events, facility management, and safety or all persons on site
  • Attainment of Corps Security KPIxe2x80x99s and assist with investigation of apparent non-conformance
  • Stay up to date with security trends, technologies, and regulations, providing recommendations for system and procedural improvements
  • Preparing profiles and setting up correct access cards for staff and contractors
  • Completing monthly PPM and HSE reports
  • Maintaining high standards for Front of House team
  • Ensure that card audits are completed correctly
  • Ad-hoc duties as and when required
