Duties

Install, maintain, and repair Intruder Alarm Systems, CCTV Systems, Door Access Control Systems. Conduct routine inspections of systems to identify potential issues before they develop into problems. Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete electrical tasks accurately and safely. Troubleshoot electrical faults using diagnostic tools and techniques to determine the root cause of issues. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure precise installation and repairs. Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects within specified timeframes. Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety legislation, maintaining a safe working environment at all times. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for future reference. May have to participate in an out of hours on-call rota

Requirements

Some experience as an engineer with some understanding of systems and safety procedures. Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality work standards. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments. Valid UK driving licence is essential.
