We are recruiting for a site-based Security Systems Engineer to join our team at a prestigious film studio.
You'll be joining a team that delivers security best practice and the latest technology solutions across a nationwide footprint, your role will be dedicated to our prestigious client. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where security technology is a crucial part of the day-to-day operations across the portfolio.

THE ROLE:
This is a site-based role reporting to our Technical Services Director. You will be contributing to an effective 1st line technical security service supporting design, projects, and maintenance programmes, across our client's portfolio. Your key accountabilities will be:
Assisting in the ongoing support of technical security system alterations for our clients' buildings, ensuring the designs are in line with the Technical Security Standards and our customer's company principles
Working alongside the site technical systems team, Technical Services Director and Project Managers to help deliver technical security maintenance and installation projects
Installation of the elements; CCTV IP infrastructure, access control platforms, intruder detection systems, vehicle barriers, pedestrian turnstiles and communications systems where required
Conducting planned preventative maintenance of the technical security solution as part of a formal and measured programme
Conducting non-planned repair of the technical security systems within our service level agreement timescales
Participate in the technical security response capability for incidents and unexpected activities, as directed
Provide training sessions on new procedures, techniques, and solutions to 1st line system users
Reviewing and making recommendations to maintain / improve site security systems and installation processes
Produce concise, well written technical reports that are submitted on time and in full
Track, benchmark and develop your technical ability on new and existing products ensuring the highest level of knowledge.

LICENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Hold a full UK driving licence
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Experience of Intruder Alarm Installation and maintenance - Honeywell experience is desirable but not essential
Experience of the installation and maintenance of IP based CCTV
Experience of the installation and maintenance of access control - Paxton experience is desirable but not essential
Sound working knowledge of Network based infrastructure
Good attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload in a fast-changing environment
Resourceful and innovative approach to resolving challenges and faults.
