We are seeking a skilled self employed Carpenter to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks,. Will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures in private residential homes. Loft conversions, extensions, renovations & new builds.
Responsibilities
Construct and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
Assemble wooden structures according to specifications.
Perform joinery tasks with precision to ensure high-quality finishes.
Ability to work with other tradespeople, including electricians, plasterers & plumbers.
Conduct repairs on existing structures and fixtures as needed.
Adhere to safety regulations while working on-site to maintain a safe working environment.
Manage materials effectively to minimise waste during projects.
Have public liability insurance & own tools. Own transport is essential.
Experience
Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role is essential.
Familiarity with various carpentry techniques and tools is required.
Experience in heavy lifting and physical stamina for demanding tasks is necessary.
Previous experience with roofing work would be beneficial but not mandatory.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical drawings accurately are crucial for success in this role.
