We are seeking a skilled Pet Groomer to join our team in providing professional grooming services to our clients' beloved pets. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and possess excellent grooming techniques to ensure the pets look and feel their best.
-We are looking to take on two self employed individuals on a rent a table basis
-One full time hours position and one part time position. However as you will be self employed you will be able to choose your own hours/working days
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets
- Handle pets with care and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the grooming area
- Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners
-Be a reliable self employed individual and have the confidence and competence to carry out full grooms to a high standard without assistance and have good attention to detail
-You will be in charge of your own diary, and taking bookings. This role would suit someone who is already self employed and wants the experience of working in a salon environment
Qualifications
- Have at least a level 3 dog grooming qualification or above and/or 3 years or more experience grooming professionally
-Experience in pet grooming is essential
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger pets
- Veterinary or animal care background is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with pet owners
