Job Description

Self Employed Gardener required to carry out contracts for the longest running garden company in Edinburgh.

Alongside our employed staff, you would be helping to maintain & tidy some of our 6000+ gardens around Edinburgh & The Lothians.

The work is Part Time, up to 30hrs per week, or as little as 2 hrs per week.

Tools & own transport are essential. As is ability to use Email & Phone, communicating clearly.

We do have a stringent vetting process which will test your knowledge & abilities, as well as trustworthiness.

You will be offered a generous hourly rate, paid each calendar month.

Job Summary:
Join our team as a Self-Employed Gardener and contribute to maintaining beautiful gardens for our clients. We are a well-established garden maintenance company with a strong reputation, serving clients in Edinburgh & the Lothians. This position is mostly seasonal with most work available from March to December, offers flexibility, and can be as much or as little work as you like. As part of our dedicated team, you will engage in various gardening tasks to enhance outdoor spaces.

Duties:
- Perform garden maintenance tasks such as pruning, weeding, planting, as set out.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools proficiently to ensure the upkeep of gardens.
- Communicate effectively with customers & office.

Requirements:
- Prior experience in gardening or landscaping is preferred.
- Own tools & vehicle is required. (

plug-in electric machinery is not suitable for this position.

)
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
