Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of construction skills and be able to work on various projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to collaborate effectively with other tradespeople.

Responsibilities

Carry out carpentry tasks, including framing, roofing, and finishing work. Perform construction painting to enhance the aesthetic appeal of structures. Execute masonry work for building foundations, walls, and other structures. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Engage in fabrication tasks to create custom components for projects. Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met. Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, construction painting and masonary is highly desirable. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to construction tasks. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driving licence may be required for travel between job sites. Adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
