We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Mortgage Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial services and demonstrate proficiency in basic mathematics. As a Mortgage Advisor, you will guide clients through the mortgage application process, providing expert advice and tailored solutions to meet their financial needs. Your role is crucial in helping clients secure the right mortgage products while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Duties

Assess clients' financial situations and advise on suitable mortgage products. Conduct thorough interviews to gather necessary information for mortgage applications. Prepare and submit mortgage applications on behalf of clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and other professionals to facilitate the mortgage process. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in mortgage products. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client queries and concerns promptly. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions in compliance with data protection regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience in financial services, preferably within the mortgage sector. Strong numerical skills with a solid understanding of basic mathematics. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex information clearly. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and client management. Relevant qualifications or certifications in mortgage advice or financial services are advantageous but not essential.
