Summary

We are looking for an RGN that have recent experience of working with patients who present with challenging behaviours and ideally worked or be working in a secure environment that has patients with a Learning Disability and/or Autism.

The RGN would take a lead role in identifying physical ailments, including wound care, supporting and advising staff on the interventions and management of any ailments identified. The RGN would be expected to either attend the weekly MDT meetings and/or submit a report as required.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a valid license to practice in the UK. Strong knowledge of patient care principles and anatomy. Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or autism is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: 22.44 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 7 per week
