About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sports Therapist/Rehabilitator, preferably with a qualification in acupuncture, to join our growing clinic. This is a self-employed role where you will have the opportunity to build your own patient list while utilising our fully equipped on-site facilities. Initial training and work shadowing will be provided to ensure a smooth transition and integration into our team.

Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat sports-related injuries.
- Develop and implement rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient needs.
- Utilise a variety of treatment techniques including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and acupuncture (if qualified).
- Educate patients on injury prevention and self-care strategies.
- Maintain detailed patient records and manage appointments efficiently.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to provide holistic care.

Qualifications:
- Degree in Sports Therapy, Rehabilitation, or a related field.
- Certification in Acupuncture is highly desirable.
- Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., The Society of Sports Therapists).

Skills and Experience:
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanic.
- Proficiency in manual therapy and other therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to assess and adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
- Organizational skills to manage patient records and appointments effectively.
- A positive attitude, empathy, and patience, especially when dealing with injured or frustrated patients.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest research and developments in sports therapy.
