Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sports Massage Therapist to join our Physiotherapy Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy and a passion for helping clients with muscular pain. This role involves providing high-quality sports massage therapy tailored to meet the individual needs of clients. We are offering part time self employed hours either daytime / weekends or evenings.

Duties

Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Perform various types of massage techniques, including deep tissue, and sports massage. Assess client conditions and adjust techniques accordingly to provide optimal relief. Maintain a clean and organised treatment room, ensuring all equipment is sanitised and ready for use. Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress using the practice software. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniqu Educate clients on the benefits of sports massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.

Skills

Comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and common musculoskeletal conditions and sports massage qualificate (ideally with affiliation to the SMA) Proficient in various massage techniques with the ability to adapt to individual client needs. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their concerns. Excellent organisational skills to manage appointments and maintain treatment records. Ability to create a calming atmosphere that enhances the overall client experience. Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of sports massage therapy.
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: 15.00-30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 8 per week
