Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivery driving and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. A strong commitment to customer service and adherence to safety regulations is essential.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as necessary. Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the delivery vehicle. Assist in warehouse operations when required, including inventory management and stock organisation. Complete necessary paperwork related to deliveries and returns.

Requirements

Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience driving larger vehicles (e.g., vans or lorries) is advantageous. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
