As part of ongoing growth, the firm is seeking a motivated

Semi-Senior Accountant

to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant to take the next step in their career, with genuine long-term progression on offer.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies Drafting and reviewing corporation tax computations and personal tax returns Preparing and submitting VAT returns Supporting clients with day-to-day bookkeeping and management accounts Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and build strong professional relationships Supporting junior staff where appropriate and assisting with workflow management

Requirements:

AAT qualified, or ACCA/ACA part-qualified or newly qualified Minimum of 2 years' experience working within a UK accountancy practice Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and tax Excellent communication and client service skills Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
