Job requirements of Engineering Machine Setter:

We are recruiting for an Engineering Machine Setter to support our Engineering and Production departments with the smooth running of factory machinery.

Shift

- 4on4off, 5PM-5AM

Day to day tasks will include:

Technical set up of numerous machines in the production area.

Ensure traceability readings of raw material have been completed and meet the site standard in live time.

Perform calculations for machinery set up, which are in line with site procedures.

Examine operation of mechanical equipment and make minor adjustments to enhance performance.

Under the guidance of management and chargehands, ensure that each product specification is followed and any anomalies are reported immediately.

To detect and report any equipment defects immediately to maintain efficient operation of machinery.

What you will need:

Mechanical Engineering or experience within machinery is required.

The ability to think fast and thrive under pressure

To be motivated and able to use your own initiative

Be flexible with daily working hours for handovers and occasional overtime

Pay and benefits:

Salary: 16.36 per hour (inclusive of a 1 per hour weekly attendance bonus)

Pension - 3% employer contributions/5% employee contributions
