SEN Learning Support



Do you have a real desire to support individuals with Special Educational Needs in a positive and nurturing learning environment?

If you have an empathetic nature, nurturing personality, and a desire to work with children and young people with complex needs, then we are looking for you to join our learning support team. We are looking to appoint up to 2 fulltime roles.

Previous experience of working with individuals who have Autism would be beneficial to your application, along with a positive, calm, resilient, and flexible personality.

Breckenbrough is a non-maintained residential special school, which specialises in delivering a holistic curriculum with an absolute commitment to supporting students in progressing to be happy and healthy adults. The school provides both day places and weekly boarding over 38 weeks.

Your starting salary will be point 8, which equates to 26,824 per annum as of 1 April 2025 working 32.5 hours per week. A 52-week contract which includes 38 weeks term time, 8 weeks holiday and 6 weeks non-contact time. This will be reviewed annually, and your salary will be paid directly into your Bank account.

Breckenbrough are dedicated to safeguarding and require all our staff to hold and Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service. All staff are subject to a 12-month probationary period. Our policies can be found on the website below.
