Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Specialist to join our tuition centre team. The ideal candidate will provide tailored support to students with a range of special educational needs, ensuring they access high-quality, inclusive teaching and make meaningful progress in their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess the individual needs of students with SEN and develop personalised learning plans. Deliver one-to-one or small group tuition sessions tailored to students with a variety of learning difficulties, including but not limited to ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs. Collaborate with subject tutors to adapt resources and teaching strategies to suit the learning needs of SEN students. Monitor and record progress, providing regular feedback to parents, carers, and the Centre Manager. Liaise with external professionals (e.g., Educational Psychologists, Speech Therapists) where necessary. Contribute to the development of SEN policies and ensure the centre complies with relevant safeguarding and SEN regulations. Provide advice, guidance, and training to teaching staff on effective SEN practices. Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
