About the Role:
One-to-one classroom support, helping the pupil access learning
Implementation of speech and language strategies in coordination with specialists
Assisting with differentiated activities tailored to the pupil's needs
Supporting progress across core areas of the curriculum
Working collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO
About the Pupil:
A polite and well-behaved boy with a positive attitude to school
Requires significant academic support due to learning challenges
Faces speech and language barriers but engages well when supported consistently
Benefits from clear structure, routine, and calm reinforcement
Candidate Requirements:
Experience working with children with
SEND
, particularly
SLCN (Speech, Language and Communication Needs)
Understanding of EHCP implementation and differentiation
Patience, consistency, and a nurturing approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently under the direction of the teacher and wider support team
