Educators First are recruiting a
full-time SEN Teaching Assistant
to work in a specialist setting in
Cardiff
, supporting children aged 3-19 years old with a
wide range of special educational needs
such as autism, down syndrome, adhd, social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
This
SEN Teaching Assistant
role is ideal for individuals who genuinely want to make a difference. Experience is
not essential
. However, schools have been clear that they are looking for
Teaching Assistants who show initiative, take ownership and demonstrate a strong desire to further each child's experience in school
.
SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
Work
1:1
with pupils with special and additional learning needs
Support children in
small groups
Work with ages 3 - 19 years old
Use your
initiative
to adapt support and respond to individual needs
Help build
confidence, independence, and enjoyment of learning
Support pupils socially, emotionally, and academically
Work closely with teachers and ALN staff to create a positive, inclusive environment
This role is hands-on, rewarding and ideal for those who want more than "just a job".
