well-established specialist school in Newport

is seeking a

full-time SEN / ALN Teaching Assistant

to join their team supporting pupils aged

3-19

.

This is a

hands-on, long-term role

within a structured specialist setting, supporting pupils with additional learning needs including

autism, SEMH, ADHD, and complex learning needs

.

The school is looking for someone reliable, proactive, and genuinely committed to making a difference -- experience is welcomed, but

This is a setting where Teaching Assistants are

Your Role



Provide

1:1 support

for pupils with SEN / ALN Support

small groups

within the classroom Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and independence Support pupils socially, emotionally, and academically Work closely with teachers and ALN staff Help maintain a

safe, structured, and inclusive environment

Full-time, Monday-Friday 90-101 per day (13.83-15.00 per hour) Long-term role with
