We are looking for a committed and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Camden, supporting a Year 1 pupil with complex needs from September 2025. An earlier start date may also be available for the right candidate.
About the Role
Year Group:
Year 1
Needs Supported:
Autism, ADHD, and behavioural challenges.
Role Focus:
Deliver consistent, tailored support within the classroom, using structure, behaviour management strategies, and SEN-specific techniques to enable progress and engagement.
Start Date:
1st September 2025, with the possibility to start sooner.
Requirements
SEN Experience Essential:
Proven success supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, and behavioural needs in a school setting.
Strong Behaviour Management:
Ability to apply positive behaviour strategies consistently and effectively.
Adaptability and Resilience:
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes challenging environment, remaining calm and supportive at all times.
Collaborative Working:
Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and wider pastoral teams to ensure the child's individual needs are fully met.
