We are seeking a SEND Outreach Practitioner to join our team at Bourne Education Trust.

Location:

Based at Bourne Education Trust's central office located in Jubilee High School, Addlestone however, frequent travel to schools across all regions will be required

Contract:

Term time plus two weeks, permanent (36 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum)

Key responsibilities include:

To provide SEND outreach across all Trust schools. To work directly with staff to support the implementation of effective SEND interventions and adaptations To provide advice and guidance on appropriate resources, programmes and approaches to support pupils with a range of SEND

Requirements include:

Essential

Ability to demonstrate an awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of pupils Experience of working with children and young people with a range of SEND needs

Desirable

Experience of working within or supporting specialist provision in mainstream settings or specialist schools Qualified Teacher Status or relevant professional qualification in SEND/inclusion (we will also consider applications from experienced HLTAs)
