Salary:

MPS - UPS - 32,916-51,048 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked). This position also attracts a SEN allowance of 2,787 per annum

Working Pattern:

This is a fixed term position working 1.0 FTE, 39 weeks per year until 31st August 2026

Roundswell Community Primary School is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Specialist SEND teacher to lead the development and delivery of high-quality, specialist provision for pupils whose needs extend beyond what is typically available in a mainstream setting.


This is a unique opportunity to shape a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child is empowered to thrive.


The SEND provision will support a small group of 6 to 8 Key Stage 1 pupils with Autism and/or SLCN. Pupils will be supported by a dedicated teacher and two experienced Teaching Assistants.

In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively with school leaders, families, and external professionals to design and implement tailored approaches that meet the individual needs of each learner.
