The role:
As the
SEND Team Manager,
you will lead a dedicated team of professionals responsible for navigating and optimising the EHCP process. Your role will involve:
Managing and inspiring a team of EHCP coordinators and Reviewing Officers
Overseeing the end-to-end EHCP process, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
Collaborating with external stakeholders, including schools, healthcare professionals, and local authorities' colleagues
Monitoring and enhancing team performance through regular feedback and training
Driving continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance service delivery
To excel in this role, you should possess:
Proven leadership experience in managing teams within the special educational needs sector or wider educational services
In-depth knowledge of the EHCP process and associated regulations
Strong organisational and project management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
