About High Impact Academic Coaching Ltd.

We are a dedicated alternative provision service supporting young people with SEND who require personalised academic guidance, structured learning, and continuity of support. Our aim is to help students build confidence, achieve measurable progress, and access education that is tailored to them.

The Role

We are currently recruiting tutors to deliver

1:1 English and/or Maths tuition

to young people with SEND in Gillingham. Learners may be working below expected levels, require personalised strategies, or need structure to re-engage in education.

You may specialise in one subject area or deliver both depending on your qualification profile.

Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering targeted sessions Adapting teaching to individual needs Encouraging attendance, engagement and progress Producing simple progress notes and session feedback
Working hours are flexible and allocated based on availability and student requirements.

Requirements

We are looking for tutors who are:

? Qualified teachers (QTS required)
? Based in the UK and able to deliver sessions face-to-face
? Confident working with SEND learners or willing to develop skills
? Consistent, reliable and patient
? Able to commit to regular sessions

Safeguarding Expectations

We follow comprehensive safer recruitment processes in line with

Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)

standards.

All roles require:

Enhanced DBS check (with barred-list where necessary) Verification of identity and qualifications Reference checks prior to engagement Completion of safeguarding induction training
All tutors must read and comply with

KCSIE Part 1

and uphold our safeguarding responsibilities throughout their role.
