What we are looking for:




We're looking for an enthusiastic Senior Account Manager with a passion for marketing. This role is critical to the success and health of client relationships, helping to deliver results driven marketing campaigns, and maintaining exceptional day-to-day client relationships. At TMP you'll develop an excellent understanding of your clients' objectives, ensuring campaigns with a wow factor are delivered consistently to brief. Across your account you'll build strong relationships with your clients and recommend marketing solutions to specific business challenges. You will continually develop your knowledge across marketing, your clients' business and their industry, helping to match client challenges to TMP solutions and services.

What you will do:



Client Management and Leadership;



Regular communication to provide real-time updates on day-to-day activities. Lead meetings, providing reporting including updates on the work, timelines and budgets, resolving any blockers or risks. Lead briefings, capturing client requirements and reporting needs. Facilitate feedback, distribute and follow up on action points, ensuring any issues, challenges or blockers are resolved. Build strong relationships with clients through articulating marketing thinking, acting as a trusted partner and managing their expectations. Guide clients on their marketing briefs, helping to match their challenges to solutions offered by TMP. Becoming an expert on your client's business to be able to challenge and improve briefs. Input into quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to provide insight, inspiration, and recommendations for future work.

Program Management;



Represent your client's business, brand, strategy and objectives within our internal team, ensuring they have the context they need to succeed. Align roles and responsibilities, processes, and delivery methodology on your projects. Create supporting project plans and resource plans. Work with our traffic manager to resource and schedule team members. Lead the creation of briefs and facilitate kick off meetings. Drive teams through the delivery of projects, co-ordinating schedules, organising meetings and providing clear actions and deadlines. Find solutions to resolve blockers or challenges. Review and critically appraise work to ensure that it meets the brief and is ready to share with the client. Review campaign results to measure success and outcomes of campaign activities.

Commercial Management;



Responsible for creating commercially sound project estimates, quotes and statements of work. Accountable for accurate project finance admin - such as purchase orders and invoices and forecast data. Tracking and reporting on time, cost and overall budget spend and profitability of your projects. Mitigating commercial risks. Marketing strategy Develop an understanding of your client's business, industry and the work, using this insight to inform your role on your account/s. Input into recommendations for marketing solutions that deliver on the business objectives of your clients. Use your understanding of the services TMP offers to add value to your accounts. Capture what's working across your account/s, sharing what success looks like across your account team.

Business Development;



Input into account plans and growth strategies, driving actions coming out of them. Recognize new areas and opportunities within the client account where we could support and work with your Account Director on how to move these forwards. Seek opportunities to expand your client relationships. Nurture alumni. Support on pitches and RFPs.

Mentorship;



Delegate tasks to more junior members of the team where appropriate. Provide feedback, coaching and mentorship in the delivery of the work. Support the onboarding and training of new hires.

Success is measured by;



Team feedback. Client feedback. Project profitability. Accuracy and stability of delivery in line with plans. Accuracy of project finances. Growth of account

Requirements



Who you are:



A desire to excel in a marketing career. Confident in front of colleagues and clients. Positive, resilient attitude, proactive in all things. Effective communicator (both verbal and written). Pragmatic, with a logical approach to work. Active listener, curious and ready to ask questions to find out what you need to know and ask the difficult questions when the moment arises. Ready to provide your own ideas and point of view. Solutions focused. Able to prioritize your own workload and manage multiple projects/clients at any one time. Able to delegate to and manage others.

What you will need:



Strong, demonstrable experience working in marketing ideally agency side, ideally in a B2B environment with proven track record for adding value back to the client. Evidence of delivering successful marketing campaigns in response to business challenges. Operational understanding of different types of marketing campaigns and delivery methodologies. Experience in managing key client and partner relationships and comfortable communicating at Manager and Director level. Experience of managing cross-discipline teams (for example - strategy, creative, technology, media). B2B marketing experience preferred. Proficient with IT including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Experience of account management tools and processes Experience of commercial management e.g. estimating costs, tracking and managing budgets.
