Duties

Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards. Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft to maintain financial records. Conduct regular audits of financial processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to best practices. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accountants, fostering their professional development. Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and budgeting activities. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations affecting the financial services sector.

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft. Strong understanding of financial management principles and practices. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to mentor and develop junior staff effectively. Solid knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial accounting standards.
