The Opportunity

We're on the lookout for a Practice Accountant ready to step into a

Client Portfolio Manager

role. You'll manage your own portfolio, becoming the go-to advisor for clients. The role blends accounts preparation, corporation tax, VAT, self-assessments, and management accounts.

What You'll Do

------------------

Produce and review statutory accounts, management accounts, and tax returns. Provide advice around budgeting, forecasting, and business planning. Act as the trusted contact for your clients, building long-term relationships. Support and review the work of junior team members. Work confidently with cloud software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, FreeAgent) and CCH.

About You

At least 5 years of experience in an accountancy practice. ACA/ACCA qualified, or Qualified by experienced with strong technical expertise. Solid background in accounts prep, tax compliance, and VAT. Able to explain financial information clearly to clients. Organised, proactive, and naturally good at building rapport.
