We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial accounting and management, with proficiency in various accounting software. Responsibilities

Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping. Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting, providing insights to support strategic decision-making. Utilise accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or PeopleSoft for efficient financial management. Mentor and support junior accountants, fostering their professional development within the team. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations across the organisation. Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required. Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and best practices within the financial services sector.

Experience

Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role within the financial management field. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, particularly in financial accounting. Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or PeopleSoft is essential. Experience in mentoring or training junior staff is highly desirable. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) are advantageous.

Pay: 35,000.00-55,926.56 per year
