A well-established and progressive accountancy practice are now looking for an ambitious Senior Accountant to join it's friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to take the next step in their career, gain more client responsibility and help mentor junior colleagues.
Role Responsibilities
Preparation of management accounts. Year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies across a wide range of industries. Preparation of VAT, corporation tax and income tax returns. Working with cloud accounting packages such as Xero and QuickBooks. Addressing client queries and providing high-quality support. Assisting and mentoring trainee accountants within the team. Reporting to the Audit & Accounts Manager.
Personal Requirements
AAT qualified with experience in an accountancy practice (essential). Ideally studying towards ACCA/ACA or looking to do so. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Confident communicator with the ability to build client relationships. Enthusiastic, proactive and keen to develop professionally.
