Job Overview

This role is to review all draft accounts before sending for final review by partner, as well as to provide support to assignees and trainees where needed. You must be technically strong and have at least 5 years experience working as a senior accountant in an accountancy practice. The salary starts at 55k depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities

This role includes, but is not limited to:

Reviewing all accounts files on MWP Responsible for the planning and preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies to review stage Preparation of tax computations for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders Preparation of corporation tax returns for limited companies, including sending them to clients for signature and filing at HMRC Preparation of partnership tax returns, sending them to clients for signature and filing them at HMRC Preparation of self-assessment tax returns, sending them to clients for signature and filing them at HMRC Ensuring all Iris profiles are updated at every single stage of the job you complete Supporting with training and development of junior members of the team Any ad hoc work to support client managers
