AXA Partners UK&I is seeking a dedicated Senior Accounts Payable Administrator to help ensure our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. About the Role: As a key member of our Finance Department, you will oversee and support the end-to-end accounts payable process across our UK and European branches. Your work will help maintain strong supplier relationships, ensure timely payments, and uphold high standards of compliance. With a hybrid working model--combining home and office working--you'll have the flexibility to balance your professional and personal life while making a meaningful impact.

What you'll be doing:



Manage the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time Review and reconcile supplier accounts, resolving any discrepancies quickly Support month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure financial accuracy Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency Monitor AP inboxes regularly to ensure all invoices and credit notes are captured and correctly coded Review expense claims for proper documentation, approval, and coding Resolve queries promptly to maintain smooth operations Support daily tasks of the finance team, including preparing weekly payment runs and posting voucher payments Maintain accurate supplier records and reconcile accounts regularly Conduct balance sheet and bank reconciliations Review creditor aged debt reports and take appropriate actions Support the AP Manager and wider finance team as needed Assist treasury with payment runs and other operational tasks




What you'll bring:



Proven experience in accounts payable, preferably in a senior or supervisory role Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent understanding of accounting principles and best practices Proficiency in accounting software (PeopleSoft, Sage Intacct, or similar) Comfortable working with the Microsoft 365 suite Effective communicator, able to collaborate across teams and levels Ability to prioritize tasks and manage high workloads efficiently Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement A team player who can also work independently

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
