Senior Accounts Payable Lead

What you'll be doing

• Manage and oversee the Accounts Payable process
• Process supplier invoices and ensure timely monthly payment runs
• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate variances
• Process internal departmental invoices and allocate costs accurately
• Review and analyse employee expense claims
• Produce monthly KPI reports to support informed decision-making
• Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments
• Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with deadlines
• Support the completion of month-end processes
• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Conduct stock reconciliations and contribute to stock control and reporting
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Provide ad hoc support to the wider finance team as required

About you

• A minimum of 2 years' experience within an Accounts Payable role
• Previous experience within FMCG
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
