Senior Analyst, Retail Insights

Kantar, the world\xe2\x80\x99s leading data, insights, and consulting company, is expanding its Retail Insights practice. Through a syndicated license platform, Retail IQ, action orientated events, and strategic advisory, this expert team helps leading and challenger brand manufacturers solve immediate challenges and realize long-term growth ambitions. As a member of the Retail Insights practice, you\xe2\x80\x99re an essential part of our connected business covering retail, shopper insights, perfect category, and operational performance. You will be primarily responsible for drug/pharmacy but will be involved in coverage of wider grocery and non-grocery channels. Providing expert opinion and strategic advice on this crucial area to the likes of Unilever, P&G, Haleon, L\xe2\x80\x99Or\xc3\xa9al, Reckitt, and Bayer.

What would you be doing?
  • Developing and executing a dynamic content plan that aligns with the market outlook and clients\xe2\x80\x99 strategic goals.
  • Writing and publishing engaging and analytically driven content on RetailIQ, including blogs, presentations, articles, and more.
  • Collaborating across teams to gather insights, ideas, and information necessary for creating impactful content.
  • Generating content quickly and efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.
  • Crafting content that demonstrates a strong understanding of different writing styles and adapting messaging appropriately for the target audience.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging best practices to ensure the content remains innovative and competitive.
  • Conducting thorough research to ensure factual accuracy and credibility of information presented in the content.
  • Epitomizing knowledge and thought leadership at our industry events, client workshops/seminars
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients on select strategic advisory projects

What are we looking for?
  • Passion for identifying emerging routes to the consumer and shopper
  • Desire to determine how legacy retailers are adapting to next generation commerce
  • Ability to derive clear causations for FMCG in navigating the new consumer and shopper realities
  • A flair for writing enjoy presenting on retail trends to senior audiences
  • Commercial acumen, and ability to manage senior stakeholders
  • Effective time and project management skills
  • Ability to analyse and draw actionable insights from qualitative and quantitative research

  • Advisory projects are a great opportunity for client exposure. Working in small project teams, you will see through projects from end to end. Creating client solutions with leading edge thinking \xe2\x80\x93 advisory projects will make up a 1/3 of your time in your first year as a Senior Analyst
  • You will be expected to contribute quickly, own work steams and even manage elements of projects independently.
