Job Description

Manchester Branch provides a variety of Personal Banking and Corporate Banking services to customers in the UK mainly in the region of North England, including deposit, loan and mortgage, remittance, bank card, clearing, currency exchange and corporate related banking services. As a Senior Assistant - Customer Service, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer services in the banking hall. You will assist to market and deliver sales of products and services offered by the Bank whilst also undertaking other day-to-day operational tasks. This is a part time 3 months fixed term contract position.

Key responsibilities



Process account opening applications for individual customers, in particular for student customers Conduct necessary screening and Customer Due Diligence (CDD), including Know Your Customer (KYC), Know Your Business (KYB), Source of Funds (SOF) and Source of Wealth (SOW) compliance requirements, while providing excellent customer service Handle customer's enquiry and any non-cash related matters Support to set up mobile banking and on-line banking for customers Liaise with the Bank's Card Centre team in relation to customers' card applications Complete variety of administration duties to assist day-to-day operations within the team Ensure that all activities meet the compliance requirements as defined in the Bank's policies and procedures Undertake additional duties when needed

Requirements



Degree educated in Finance, Economics or Accounting Experience in the Banking sector is preferable Knowledge of Retail Banking products Knowledge of the regulatory requirements and industry practice for the Financial Crime disciplines, including AML/CTF, Fraud, Sanctions and ABC Demonstrated customer service skills Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills Problem solving and analytical skills Team player Attention to detail
