Responsibilities

Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment. Manage food preparation and production processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Train new staff members in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service standards. Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Engage with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly. Implement strategies to enhance service quality and operational efficiency within the restaurant or hotel setting. Collaborate with the management team to develop menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development. Previous experience in barista roles or hotel environments is advantageous. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to contribute positively to the team atmosphere.
